JASON HALL - WAXHAW COMMISSIONER
On December 3, 2020, I was appointed as a Commissioner for the Town of Waxhaw. After being sworn into office, I promised Waxhaw residents to be analytically driven with thoughtful ideas and vote based on data and what best serves the town. From day one, I have been speaking with residents and business owners about our history, where we are today and where we might be in the future.
EARLY LIFE
Jason was born on June 14, 1971, in Boston, Massachusetts. His father, Philip McCloy Hall, was employed in the famed General Electric (GE) training program. The program with GE required the family to move around the country every eight months, making growing up comparable to a military family. The result was that Jason has seen many different parts of America and has developed a good ability in listening to people.
When the family finally settled outside of Philadelphia, PA, Jason found a rewarding path in the Boy Scouts, where he learned the value of community service. In 1988, Jason achieved the highest rank in The Boy Scouts of Eagle with Troop 139 in Warminster, PA.
PROFESSIONAL LIFE
In 1995, Jason graduated from Barry University in Miami, Florida, with an International Business Management degree. He managed and operated several manufacturing facilities focused on software technology improvements in metal turned products, plastic injection molding, and plastic extrusion. In 1999, Jason moved to Washington D.C. where he deployed advanced software technologies to the Federal Government. Some of the Federal agencies included the U.S. Department of the Interior and the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission, where Jason became a Public Servant as a Federal Employee. Jason has held many clearances with the U.S. Government. He is active in helping the Government achieve success, and he takes pride in giving back to Waxhaw.
Today, Jason owns Waxhaw-based McCloy Hall & Co, a management consulting company focusing on small businesses. He also serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Florida-based Rapid Deployment Solutions.
FAMILY LIFE
“When I first stepped foot into Waxhaw, I fell in love with the historic charm. My wife, Flavia, and I decided we would make Waxhaw our forever home and I became involved to preserve the nostalgic charm“.
Jason, his wife Flavia, and their two daughters Isabelle and Adelene, can be frequently seen in the local restaurants, parks, ice cream, and bike shops. The Town of Waxhaw has a lot to offer a growing family and offers a welcoming southern charm.
Outside of work, Jason and his wife are constantly on the move raising two very active young girls. With close proximity to the mountains or the ocean, Jason and his family are enjoying life in Waxhaw.
